FAC OPEN LETTER TO STRUGGLING ARTISTS:  This is easy to complain and bitch about just anything when things don't  go your way; but at the end of the day you will be judged by your actions and your actions alone.  Are you doing the work? Do you know what to do? Have you constantly put yourself out there either you were rejected or not? Have you continuously worked on sharpening your skills; your presentation and growing the numbers of people who know about you? Do you have a positive ATTITUDE? 

What are we talking about? MARKETING, the power of marketing  YOURSELF and your MUSIC! The first and most important decision you will make in your career that will change your complete outlook about  how you see it; is to DEFINE what you want to accomplish.  Second make a commitment  to do the RIGHT thing LONG ENOUGH that will ultimataly bring about the realization of your DREAM to be a professional performer.

At  FAC our solution is SIMPLE, yet effective. Our formula is  to positively know that you are going where you want to go; that success; money; fame and just about anything in life is a number game! REPETITION is KEY.  So do the right thing as long as you need with persistence and you will get the result you want.  Acknowledge the good things that happen along the way but take responsibility for your mistakes as well so to not repeat them again.  The sooner you accept what you are doing wrong the faster you can rectify it and learn the right way to do it.  Apply this simple system in your training with your voice; your writing; your interaction with your peers and industry professionals and you will soon see a change in the result you get.  

Be grateful for the opportunities you get.  Be humble and thankful for your growing fans and for the structure support you have behind the scene. The people who support you before you become famous are the one who help you get a clear vision about your goals. They may not be your managers; producers; or have any big tittle to FLAUNT around; but if they are there for you at that crucial time of your career; thank them encourage them and they will encourage you more in your GAME PLAN or BLUEPRINT to SUCCESS.  Your original supporters and your fans are the foundation; the back bone of your success.  They are the one that will help you make possible for you what comes NEXT.  

Remember just like a shop owner will not remain open without customers regularly coming  and buying  your career will fizzle FAST  if you neglect to learn to put your fans and early supporters FIRST in your words and in your thoughts; you will not make it.  Do not get confused your family; boys and girls girlfriends and boyfriends want you to succeed in the best case but most often only if they can get something out of it.  Most of the time you will get words and actions from people who are supposed to have your back that are meant to discourage you.  


STAY FOCUS this is a signal you are half way there.  But if your close friends and family support your effort as an artist; count yourself lucky.  You are benefiting  from a strong base to build upon that will facilitate your future success.   For most of you striving to get your music out there will be met with all kind of  negativity. DO NOT GIVE UP.  Surprisingly it will often come from people you know and trust. DO NOT GIVE UP. They will try to undermine  you; they  will tell you don't have what it takes to get out there an be a success  and if you listen to them this will become your reality and you will soon fail if you do not get rid of these people who only look for the dark side of a coin.  What is it going to be? You have here a phenomenal system put in place by a group of people that do not believe in the status quo or in the blaming game or name calling. 


FAC is in effect a new MEDIA platform to help any talented performer who is willing to accept that FREE PROMOTION can equal  BIG VALUE. You have all heard of word of mouth or sharing in social media this is a DREAM practice for MARKETERS no matter what they are selling.  Yes when you are featured  on this blog you get a free online advertising campaign trough our viral traffic generating  system; you benefit from the money we spend advertising our website and events; you get access to a state of the art studio if you need one; an  experienced engineer with all the services at competitive low rates. Heck, you can always say I am not lucky I don't have enough money to put my project together and be noticed by labels but you would be wrong to think so.


Our system works; we are now going into the second stage of our mission.  We are  booking new artists we featured on our FRESH BLOG to perform live to a Manhattan location where they can perform for their fans and get a chance to be seen  by industry insiders and hopefully get the leverage they need to get signed to a recording contract.  Yes we  have a subjective way to select who is featured on our BLOG. but this is how FAC keeps relevant!!! 


Our decision to  promote you is solely  based on the quality of your project and our belief in you as an individual. FAC absolutely believe we can spot a genuine UP & COMING ARTIST.  Do not be discouraged if you are not called back right away,  Take it as an opportunity to go back and get better.  This is the right attitude to have.  Don't look for a beef with US or anyone when it comes to your music being accepted or not.  Just be the best you can be even if it is not with us.  

FAC remains anonymous to avoid influences.  Advertisers or sponsors decide with that knowledge to advertise on this blog.  FAC comitment is to be a voice for artists  who othervise may not believe in the MUSIC BUSINESS. As small as our contribution may be  we know we have done our part. WE ARE NOT A RECORD LABEL; only an IDIOT would think that.

Stay positive support your local artists send them here we are NEW so we are not perfect nor shoud you expect us to be; but we both want something and this is your success!
