We are sincerely sorry for the change; but not much so for the change of venue. You know bringing sound booking DJ's lighting takes serious behind the scenes work and logistic. Our intention is to promote you the indie artists in the best light possible. We are all looking forward to start rolling out the LIVE ON STAGE events. There are so many unknown great artists out there who deserve to be on stage and we are determined in being a new platform for them SOON. Something unexpected but beautiful came out off this. FAC will now sponsor a monthly live on Stage event in Brooklyn, as well in collaboration with Bk Sytle Foundation. NOW we have 2 locations to showcase talent every months. One in Manhattan, and One in Brooklyn; just not "One and One" them in turn #FAIL, LOL. But let's focus on the bright side of the coin; the opportunities we have here. I started writing/rapping when I was like 11, my brother Mike (R.I.P), triggered my love for Hip Hop thru his love Djing, spinning classic records like "The World is yours" NAS. A). I grew up in many different places in Ontario Canada, and in the US. B). My best memory is playing 2 on 2 basketball with my brothers Jason, Shaun, & blood brother Mike. The games were so intense we'd damn near fight @ times, then laughed after!! R.I.P - JSM my brothers to the End! A). I'm still focused on supporting my recent College debut single "Supa Fly", the next project will include some known producers andartist features w/in the industry. B). My peeps can expect a lot more solid work hitting the masses via audio recordings/performances and heavy visuals. A). I don't have a favorite artist, actor or athlete, I respect so many out of the bunch I couldn't isolate one, however I admire Michael Jordan, Denzel Washington, and the late great Michael Jackson, I think they are great example of hard work; and as close to perfection as it gets. B). I'm inspired by anyone that takes their craft serious, people have to know anything great does not come "over night", there's a process to obtaining success and it's not easy. I can be inspired to write a new "Hip Hop record", after listening to a song from Linkin Park! A). I'm a proud dad, my 2 beautiful sons keep me very busy when I'm not doing music. Outside of being an artist/father, I'm also an actor so if I'm not preparing for a show performance or playing in the park w/my sons, I'm in the city attending an acting workshop polishing my craft. A). I've done over 10 independent movies shorts and feature films. I've done a video however not as an artist I played the lead male in a video for Artist Trav ft Sean Kingston titled "Up & down". My artist vid will be coming "very soon though"!! A). I'm excited to perform at your first opening night, I think first impressions "are important", so if I can add value to your venue then I'm all for it! B). Large venue w/live band and singers on deck! A).  Click to AudioProphet.com FAC When did you start rapping and what triggered your love for Hip Hop? AP My love and exposure to Hip Hop began as early as age 7. My older brother which is my one and only sibling is 5 years older than me, so as he became intrigued with the culture naturally so did I. I can remember my brother going through all the fads trying to be a rapper himself from the gum-by slope, to wearing our clothes like Kris Kross, rocking ski goggles, the whole nine. So like most kids I looked up to and wanted to be just like my older brother. My first rap was actually written at age 9 and performed as an opening act for a local artist in Dale City, VA where I lived at the time. I still remember the verse to this day lol. My love and passion for football then took over and it wasn't until I was about 21 and my football days were done before I put the pen to pad and considered myself a rapper again, and I've been on it ever since. FAC Where did you grow up and what is your best memory growing up? AP I did most of my growing up in Central Park on the east side of Buffalo, NY. I also spent a good deal of my teen years in the Coldsprings also on the east side of Buffalo. My best memory growing up would probably be playing football. Now being older I have a tremendous amount of appreciation for how the game of football molded me but ultimately kept me from getting caught up in the same streets every male in my family did before me. I feel like football saved my life. FAC What's your next project & what should your fans expect next? AP My next project titled 'Fueled By Doubt' will be my 5th EP release and is set to drop sometime at the end of April 2012. The project contains about 15 original tracks with crazy production and a few special features. Will most certainly be my best project yet! My fans should be expecting me to start working with some big name artists and producers in the game in anticipation of getting my first OFFICIAL ALBUM underway and continue delivering "music for the masses". FAC Who is your favorite artist actor or athlete or anyone inspires you and why? AP The main inspiration in my life and with everything I do is my children. My only fear in life you can say is failing them. FAC Besides being an up and coming artist with a growing fan base & buzz how do you stay busy when not in the studio at the moment? AP I'm literally a one man machine when it comes to my music. Not a big fan on waiting on people and not having control over my product so as of now I record my own music, mix my own music, create my own graphics, manage most of my websites and much more. They say if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. All my free time outside of all that which is very little is spent with the family of course. FAC Are you in any music videos or movies? AP Besides my own music videos and those of tracks I'm featured on you won't catch me in any other videos just yet. FAC You are performing at our first event; how do you feel about that & where would you like to perform next? AP I have performed dozens of times but this will be my first NYC performance and because of that I am very very excited to do my thing. The main reason why I relocated to this area was to take advantage of what the Mecca of Hip-Hop has to offer and inversely do the same. Touching the stage is probably my favorite part of making music so anywhere me and my music are welcomed you can say I'd be down to perform. FAC What success means to you? AP To me success is not a destination, it's a journey. So as long as I continue to progress and people consider my music special, I'll consider myself successful.

I started rapping when i was 12 but not seriously until i was about 16 and, just being around music a lot and always listening to new music made me really love it. 2. I'm a army brat so i never really grew up one place but, my favorite memories growing up were just being able to experience different people and cultures. 3. Well i just released my newest album last week and, i think the next project won't be until maybe july or late August i haven't thought fully on a name yet but i have about 10 songs i've done already. 4.My favorite artist is Kendrick Lamar just because i appreciate his content his views on life and his talent level is amazing it really makes me want to work harder. I also really like Kanye West, N.E.R.D, OFWGKTA, and Kid Cudi. 5. I am also a practicing artist i am currently setting up for my solo exhibit in Elkton, MD to display digital art, sculpture and a few paintings. 6. The only music videos I'm in are my own so far i haven't had much time to do anything like that yet. 7.I feel good i just need to make sure i get a lot of rest since I'm coming from so far away and my next performance is the day after that in Philly for the World Cafe' Live contest. 8. Success to me is achieving your goals even if its small steps to reach your main goal as long as that happens i see that as success MeLo Meezy @MVNTHVTSMELO
